My kids eat a lot of salads. Szofia, my younger one (10) requested these ingredients to her salad.

 

  • 2 big handful arugula (rocket)
  • half cup of sliced raw cabbage
  • half cup chopped grilled chicken
  • 3 big pinches of broccoli sprout
  • half red bell pepper chopped
  • 1 Tbsp sunflower seed
  • topping: 1 Tbsp home made fajita hummus
  • splash of apple cider vinegar

 

Mix ingredients and enjoy. :)

 

The above mix is full of colors, vitamins and minerals, there a nice portion of fibre and protein too.

If you give a bag of potato chips to your child, it will lack vitamins, minerals, fibre, colors and will be very high on inflammatory fats.
