- 2 pcs medium head onion, peeled, chopped
- 1 lb carrot, washed and chopped
- 1/2 lb asparagus, chopped
- 1 lb mushroom, chopped
- 4 pcs medium potato, washed and chopped
- 4 pcs medium sweet potato, washed and chopped
- 1 lb beef, chopped into small pieces (I had some leftover, since I always make bigger batches and freeze them.)
- 2 Tbsp paprika
- salt to taste
- 3-4 cloves garlic, minced
- water to cover the veggies and meat
Instructions
- Put the peeled and chopped onion into a pot on low heat and start to sautee it.
- If the beef is still raw, chop it into small pieces, cover it with water and cook it in a pressure cooker for approx 50 minutes, or cook it on stovetop for approx 3 hours. I cooked 4 portions last time in a pressure cooker, so I saved plenty of time.
- Wash and chop the other veggies and add them to the onion-meat mix. If you use cooked meat, this is the time to add the water.
- If the meat has to be cooked, then add the veggies only approx after 2.5 hours and they get done in 30 minutes.
- Add the salt and spices.
- Add the minced garlic only at the very end.
